Michael completed his BA in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from University of Colorado Boulder in May 2016. He began his PhD at UNM in fall 2017. Michael is working on the community assembly of root-associated fungi. All of his field-work is completed at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory (RMBL) in Gothic, Colorado.
